I need a new computer. It's now decided to randomly shut down and running two programs at the same time is entirely too taxing. Sadness. Will have to wait until next financial aid go 'round.

In the meantime....

Here are photos from my recent show. This was a long time coming, and didn't end up being exactly what I'd planned, but I think it still looks really good. It's a step up, professionally. Thanks to good friends with old barn doors and trucks, nice gallery staff who are excited about the work, awesome friends who come out to support me on opening night, and good people and Professors who will unlock the darkroom so that I can print until 4 am.

Hopefully, the full version will be shown sometime next year.
Hopefully, I'll have been back to NOLA by then...

That looks awesome, Jill! The mountings on the wall look great with the photographs. Is that the barn door you mention?

Thank you! Yep. It was heavy as hell and I'm just glad it didn't tear down the fixtures. We left all the dirt, grass, and a few fungus blooms on it too.
