Foot "fetish"

I like my feet.

They're pale, but with definition...very small, but shapely. My second toe on my right foot is crooked from a break I was too scared to fix. I was little and as I ran through the living room, I smacked my foot into the corner of our big wooden, behemoth of a coffee table. There are traces of red polish still on my big toes...I should paint them soon. I've always liked my legs and feet, no matter how unhappy I am with the rest. I was laying on the couch yesterday with only a t-shirt and underwear on, and I raised up one leg perpendicular to my body. I just laid there and moved my foot around on it's joint, looking at the connections and sinew, the flesh and the way it moves around bone and muscle, the subtle shadows created.

I also like the small of my back, and a few things inbetween.
The rest I'm not so sure about.

Working on it.

My feet look exactly like my dad's - only a smaller female version of them. I remember us sitting on the love seat in (what once was) my parent's room watching something on t.v. Neither of us had socks or shoes on and we were both reclined so our feet were up. I remember looking at them and comparing each little section of our feet and finding that they look exactly the same. The way the bone on the outer edge of our feet goes out some to make our feet slightly wide but not fat. The way our second and third toes are kind of connected at the base. The way we both have small toenails overall and oddly shaped pinkie toenails. And the way we have high arches that makes my foot look beautiful when extended and pointed. I just always found it comforting how much my feet look just like my dad's. It makes me belong to him, a part of him, it makes me his daughter.

Awwww...

That was very sweet. :)

Playing footsie.

I am undecided about my feet. My mother always said they were ugly, like my father's -- long, skinny rabbit feet. But I sort of like the way they look, bony and skinny and imperfect-looking. I always paint the toenails bright red to make them stand out even more. The second toes on each foot are longer than the big toes. Someone once told me that was a sign of wisdom, and I thought that anyone who believed that their smelly old feet could predict wisdom must not be very wise, at all. When I was in fifth grade I wrote just as well using my feet as I did when I used my hands. I had pretty crappy handwriting then.

Feet! :)

Rabbit feet?! It was meant to be! ;)

Write me a letter with your feet, Kat!

Someone told me once that connected earlobes (there's a name for that, isn't there?) mean a sign of evolution. Apparently I'm not evolved enough though, cause mine are dangly.

I once heard...

I heard that if the second toe on your feet are longer than your big toe, it is because you are a few genes closer to the primates.
I also heard that if your ears are connected to your head, it is evolution. Mine are also dangly and free.
Also, if you have hair on your arms, it is to be wealth.
But that's just silly.
