I uploaded all of the APE html files, thumbnails, and images into a subdirectory on my PacBell site, only to realize that I cannot view files in a subdirectory. Now I have to fucking delete it all and start over again. Thank you PacBell. Thank you for making this so easy.

The PacBell site says that I can use an FTP program, but I know nothing of FTP programs. Someone teach me.

I'm at work, I have tons to do(work-related and otherwise), and I'm sick.

Also am waiting on a call from my insurance agent about that parking lot accident. I'm 95% sure it's bad news. What else could it be.

Hmm, Globalscape (www.globalscape.com, I think) makes a great little FTP program called CuteFTP. I've been using it for years -- I think it's up to v4.0 now. It's shareware, but the trial version works for 30 days, and you know how easy it is to find free registration keys on the 'net. *stares at the sky*

It'd be tricky to explain how to use it in e-mail -- better if you have a friend who uses it, who could explain it over the phone -- but I'll give it a try if you'd like. :)

You know, that's what they use here I think. I'm surrounded by techies yet I didn't think to just ask around. (It's the attitude I get when I ask something like that. That, or they're really bad at explaining things of this nature as it seems simple and common knowledge to them.)
Thank you! :)

No problem at all. :) The hard part to explain is setting up all the FTP account information -- which is the part they'll probably be best at helping you with.

After that, it's just a matter of remembering that the files in the left column are on /your/ machine, and the files in the right column are on the /remote/ machine. If you double-click a file on the left, you'll upload it to the remote machine -- if you double-click a file on the right, you'll download it to your machine.

Which probably just sounded like one of those awful senseless techie descriptions, but eh. ;) Fire me an e-mail if you need any help!
