A happy accident? Those are the best.

No, just so many people ask me how I did it right after they say they like it. These are usually people walking by me. The explanation takes longer than I'm sure they really wanted to hear, so it just gets annoying. Not that I'm ungrateful for the compliments, it's just the question afterwards that bothers me. We joked that I should print up cards that say "Thank you!" on one side and the instructions on the back. heheh. :) I'm sure people with lots of tattoos get it too. "OOh, wow! That is cool! Did it hurt?" o_@

Yes. I have four tattoos, and one of them is a half-sleeve tribal piece. I get "what is it supposed to be?" to "did it hurt?" One person asked me once what I would do if I wanted to get married. Geez!

My most recent encounter was at the Baltimore Museum of Art. I was standing in front of a huge abstract expressionist painting, and the guard wanted to know what my tribal piece was supposed to be. The irony was enough to keep me amused for the rest of the day.

digital cameras are evil, because then you can take lots of guilt free pictures of yourself and SEE THEM RIGHT AWAY! for some reason, that is a draw to me. that and the fact that i have nothing better to shoot with my digital camera.
