blustocking"She hated brushing her teeth the most. Because, inevitably, as she stood there absorbed in the monotony of cleaning, one single roach would scurry over her bare toes. It was as if he was lying in wait for this moment every day of his short roach life, hiding under the dark awning of the cabinets under the sink.
As per the ritual, and even though she knew it was coming, she would yelp, jump two feet back, and scream obscenities through a mouthful of toothpasty foam. She began to think she could even distinguish the faint sounds of what could only be described as "roach-like laughter" as the disgusting little beast scuttled off to tell his buddies...or, so that's what she thought he would do. Because that's what a man would do, and let's face it...men are roaches."
