I heard the most awful thing driving home last night...a remix of....WEEZER'S "HASHPIPE". Nooooooooooo! That, combined with the lovely assfucks on the 405, made for a wonderful driving experience.

p.s. Thank you to all of the people who want to hump my leg. :) Keep in mind kids, a lot of those pictures are ooooooold. I am blimp-sized and haggard like a toothless old betty now. ;)

Occasionally there is some poo on KCRW and I have to listen to KROQ...but yeah, KCRW is far superior. KXLU is okay sometimes too. There's this pirate radio station on....hmmm, 87.8? I'm not sure, but it's called Pirate Kat radio. You can only get it in odd places around L.A. though.

3WK.com is a really good internet only station too. If only I could affordt that XM satellite radio.

Maybe all freeways that end in "5" are over their quota of idiot/assholes? I've never had to weave around so many slow bastards in my life. And I love how they just drift over with no signal when they change lanes.

unfortunately, i only get kxlu sometimes because i live in long beach, but i love it.do you listen to kuci? that's pretty good too, and we used to do a show on there so i always feel nostalgic. i will try the pirate station.
as for the freeways, i drive so much on all of them, the drivers seem to be the same everywhere except for in the valley or in OC, where they are twice as mean. slow ass motherfuckers with no brains.

You know, I caught a bit of KUCI once and there were some self-important "oh my we're so interesting and funny" college wankers talking and talking and talking...so I switched stations. But I will give it another chance. Hell, all stations have a few of those kinds of DJ's.

I don't know why, but I've found the 101 to be the lesser of the evils...maybe it's just easier to get around those dumb fucks because they're going slower. Heheh. But yeah, OC freeways are not fun, not fun at all. Have you seen the SIZE of some of these vehicles now?! That damn Cadillac Escalade gets 12mpg city and 16mpg on the freeway?! That reminds me...have you seen this (http://www.changingtheclimate.com/)?

haha! that's fucking rad! my boy justin had his own idea- "i'm burning my kid's fossil fuels", and we were going to print those up and do some vadalisin'.
i was commenting on an escalade last night at dinner,and how incredibly ugly they are.
i myself am a lover of hatchbacks. they get great mileage, plus they fit in all those "compact" spaces, provided some asshole in an escalade or an expedition hasn't taken up half the space.

We should go vandalizin' sometime. ;)

Have you seen those stupid fucking SUV limos?! What the hell is the point of THAT?! "Hey, let's see how ugly and wasteful of a vehicle we can make?" They make me violent.

I loved my '90 Ford Probe. Had it for 5 years, I could fit my futon in that damn thing, and I could park it in more spaces than my current car(Ford Taurus).

ok i'm a bit slow in the responses, but why the hell do you listen to kroq jill? damn i love kxlu i listen to that all the time. as for the secret radio, my friend told me ther was some i think 87.9 or something that you can only pick up in the hollywood vacinity. she says its punk all the time. every time i try it in the valley all i get is this weird gothy station, you might like it jill. hehe.

and ummwhere in long beach do you live other person? i could never pick it up when i was living there or when i'm down there visiting. as for traffic, yeah it sucks.

KROQ can have it's moments. There are still some "mainstream alternative" bands/songs I like. Shit, it's not like I get my swerve on to STAR 98.7. ;) Though, I do like that India Arie chick quite a bit. Bah, labels schmabels. I likes me some good music.

Was your friend that told you about the pirate radio station perhaps TEABAG, the infamous Emily from BME? ;) She was big into that station, and I used to get it when I lived in Hollywood. Twas a good station.

no it was my friend sonia who lives in hollywood. i don't really talk to emily. i've talker to her a couple times but that is all. and i guess for me, kroq doesn't play anything i feel worth listening to unless it's like the flshback lunch or sometimes rodney's show but i haven't heard it in forever. i've been in my cd mode lately.
