I have a stuffed moose.
He cost $3. But he's really cool. Not at all what you'd expect for a $3 stuffed moose.

I also got an Amélie poster, a talking Dr. Evil doll, a wooden drawing reference figure, a 13" teevee, and a spooky costumey-type purse with a plastic chain for a strap for free. Free is good. :) I have too much stuff.

p.s. Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] christafa!!! :D

What is this "free" you speak of, and how can I find it? I was told it was a myth that parents told so their children would sleep better at night, ignorant to the concept of paying for things.

First you have to find a friend who's moving, then she has to find a friend who's fairly rich and has a lot of stuff to give away.

Go forth my child!
And I bid you luck on your quest! :D

I want to see AmI want to see Amélie so bad.

I wanted to see it even before everybody said how good it is. I wanted to see it from the first time I saw the ad in the newspaper and saw how cute Audrey Tautou looked in the advertisement. Everybody talking about it just made me want to see it more. I never got around to it though. There are SO many movies that I need to see. Too many!!!
:(

Do you like Jeunet? (City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, etc...)

I was working in a video store when City of Lost Children came out. I really wanted to see it, but for some reason never got around to it. I even think I got around to renting it once, and started watching it but got distracted. It wasn't because of the subtitles or anything. I don't really remember. Our store also had Delicatessen, but I haven't heard anything about it. I just got done watching Midnight Cowboy. It supposedly was the first rated X movie to get best picture at the oscars...which was in 1969. Excellant movie, but it's probably one of those 'you love it or you hate it' type movies.

You mean Buffalo Exchange on La Brea? It's been awhile since I've been there, and I'm sure nothing will fit me...but I would go with! :) We can go to Amoeba and I need to pick up some powder at the Slut.
