AAAAAAAAA!!!!! If you're in SoCal right now, go outside and look up and west!

GO! NOW!

8:18pm: What I was referring to was this. I didn't want to say anything until I could confirm what it was. (Scroll down to Upcoming Launches, March 15th) It was the most surreal thing I've seen in a looooong time. Ryan (co-worker) and I took pictures and I'll scan them in as soon as we get the film back. I'm sure the pictures won't do it justice, as pictures often don't, and these were disposable cameras. So horrifying and beautiful at the same time.

Oh, and Godzilla as well. :)

I couldn't. I was in Japanese at the time.

I'm upset that I missed something that cool, though. :(

I looked west, and there was nothing but rainclouds... I looked East too, just in case the missile went horribly wrong and came towards London :)

Okay, so I didn't see it this time but I have seen it before and you are completely right in your explanation. So amazingly beautiful but completely horrifying knowing what it is.
