Okay...I might go get this in an hour. Tell me this is okay. :}

9pm: It is absolutely DISGUSTING how much money I just spent. I'm feeling a little sick, but I'm still happy that I bought it. I'm not going to be telling my parents how much I spent. In fact, I won't be telling anyone, most likely. I'm am completely irresponsible and it feels goooooood, if not a little woozy-making. SECOND JOB BABY!
Bad thing about this is, if I take photography soon, which I'll probably have to if I stick with Art as my major, I'll have to buy a decent SLR too. Fuck you, I'm smart.</i

Hey...do you know how big a 3.3 megapixel picture really is? I'll send you an example if you are interested. It may be just big enough for you instead of taking pictures and creating billboards!!

I usually use that logic that if I'm going to buy it...might as well just go for it all.

Megapixel refers to the resolution, doesn't it? The higher the megapixel, the better the image resolution, not image size. That is why I decided to just go with the 5, as more and more 6mp are coming out.

Oh...and I just got back from buying it. I sick with guilt, but hot damn if it isn't cool.

2nd job!!!!!!

A monitor can only handle a certain number of pixels per inch. So, generally when you get a higher megapixel...it means that the picture will turn out a lot larger size with the same quality. In other words, you're probably going to be able to create billboards with your new million megapixel camera. As you can see from the picture I sent you...the quality is as good as any DVD played on an HDTV....it's just a large picture.

Just curious...how big is this thing...it looked big in the picture!

Maybe this (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydscf707/page3.asp) will give you a good idea. It's not that big really and I was turned off by the huge, honkin' lens, but I didn't realize you can swivel it to just fit in your palm. Ashley, the girl here at work, takes some amazing pictures and she loves this camera, so....oog....I bought it. :)

heheh, I just took it out and held it....it's so cool. :)

You're gonna be up all night...I just know it. heh heh :P

I am truly thinking of taking my camera with more more often everywhere I go. I'm taking it tomorrow to work. There has been too much lately that I have wanted to shoot while I have been driving around, and I didn't have a camera.
Me and my drive by shootings.

OH! I see what you're saying...yes, well...you never know. Us Art majors like to create some big images. :)
