1. Anytime someone asks me what flavor something is, I'm going to say, "Herpes".

2. Diet Dr. Pepper tastes absolutely fucking amazing after abstaining from sodee-pop for a long-ass time.

heeeeeeheh.

Dr. Pepper is the nectar of the gods when it's ice cold (like, almost slushy) and it's hot as Hell outside.

I can definitely agree with that. Diet Code Red is pretty damn good too. :)

Is that one of those "spicy" sodas?

Date: 2002-06-21 04:04 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] blustocking.livejournal.com
Yes. It's made from paprika, chile peppers, and taco meat.

NO! It's just Mountain Dew with Cherry flavor (it tastes like carbonated tropical punch, sorta).
YOU MUST HAVE SOME.

>>Mm. Meat soda. I have seen soda at Trader Joe's that has jalapeno powder in it. WTF?!

Trader Joe's is one wacky-fun store yo.

I AM talking about Mountain Dew's Code Red. Nutty McNutterson.

I'm going against the grain here.

I'm a Mr. Pibb person myself.
It's because I'm THAT much cooler than everybody else!! Fwahhhhh!

pff! As if!

It's just harder to find out here. When I was home, I saw they had Mr. Pibb Xtra. I have no idea what was so "Xtra" about it, but it was damn tasty.

WHA-CHOW!

Man, that has to be one of the dumbest slogans ever. :)

Cherry Coke is sometimes hard to find out here too. OO! And I loved one they made called Dr. Slice (Slice and Dr. Pepper) which they don't seem to sell anymore...but they had it back home!
That's it...I'm moving.

HA!

Yuck...I hate Slice....especially their Lemon-Lime imitation version of 7-up.

Coca-Cola products had Sprite, so Pepsi-Co. had to come up with their own...and the best they could do was Slice.

Take me with you....we'll shop at Hastings and eat Kolaches (which they don't have here either)
:(

I didn't say I liked SLICE, I said I love DR. SLICE!
What the hell are Kolaches?

Heh...Hastings...that's where I met Ryan. He looked just like Robert Smith. :) MEMMMMORIEEES.

Kolaches are like small sausages wrapped up and baked inside of a type of Pillsbury buscuit. You can get them in *any* donut shop in Texas. Kansas is pretty close to Texas so I was figuring that they had them there too. Hmm.

pronounced.... "Kolacheeeees"

Yeah, I remember you saying you met him there. I worked at Hastings for a few years in college in Nacogdoches, Texas. haha.

Nope. Was it a sodee-pop?

Date: 2002-06-21 05:04 pm (UTC)

Yeah, it's a sodee. I've only seen it in Illinois. The name reminds me of that SNL ad for Swill, where Bill Murray says, "I like mine...with a twist!"

1. Not very hard when you convice yourself that you HAVE to. But I've never been much of an addict.

2. Main Entry: awhile
Pronunciation: &-'hwI(&)l, &-'wI(&)l
Function: adverb
Date: before 12th century
: for a while
usage Although considered a solecism by many
commentators, awhile, like several other adverbs of time and
place, is often used as the object of a preposition .
