1. Anytime someone asks me what flavor something is, I'm going to say, "Herpes".

2. Diet Dr. Pepper tastes absolutely fucking amazing after abstaining from sodee-pop for a long-ass time.

heeeeeeheh.

Man, that has to be one of the dumbest slogans ever. :)

Cherry Coke is sometimes hard to find out here too. OO! And I loved one they made called Dr. Slice (Slice and Dr. Pepper) which they don't seem to sell anymore...but they had it back home!
That's it...I'm moving.

HA!

Yuck...I hate Slice....especially their Lemon-Lime imitation version of 7-up.

Coca-Cola products had Sprite, so Pepsi-Co. had to come up with their own...and the best they could do was Slice.

Take me with you....we'll shop at Hastings and eat Kolaches (which they don't have here either)
:(

I didn't say I liked SLICE, I said I love DR. SLICE!
What the hell are Kolaches?

Heh...Hastings...that's where I met Ryan. He looked just like Robert Smith. :) MEMMMMORIEEES.

Kolaches are like small sausages wrapped up and baked inside of a type of Pillsbury buscuit. You can get them in *any* donut shop in Texas. Kansas is pretty close to Texas so I was figuring that they had them there too. Hmm.

pronounced.... "Kolacheeeees"

Yeah, I remember you saying you met him there. I worked at Hastings for a few years in college in Nacogdoches, Texas. haha.

I've never heard of Dr. Slice. Hm. Did they have Green River where you grew up? The name always kept me from trying it.

Nope. Was it a sodee-pop?

Yeah, it's a sodee. I've only seen it in Illinois. The name reminds me of that SNL ad for Swill, where Bill Murray says, "I like mine...with a twist!"
