I changed my Kerry sticker into a memorial. A simple black band across the length will do, use white paint/white-out to write some memorializing words:

"R.I.P. Respectability & Rights"
"In Memoriam..."
"R.I.P. Civil Liberties"

I wanted Kerry to win as much as the next person, but really.. you should focus your energy on something that will make tomorrow better than today. This won't do much of anything besides getting you rear-ended by a right-wing christian.

Yeah, I'm not a huge Kerry fan either. I would have preferred Howard Dean (in my pipe dreams, Al Gore). I just don't want to see Dems/Liberals/etc keep backing down and giving up so easily.

I'm all for rational dissent, but the liberal wing in this country (for the record, I'm an anarcho-capitalist in case you'd missed it) doesn't back down and give up. THEY DON'T FIGHT! This piss, whine and bitch, but they don't fight.

Maybe this defeat will encourage them to actually come up with a strategy and a plan, rather than just a candidate, and try to actually win the changes they want.
