Smarmfarmer: "The girl."
Me: "No, she's not working today."(now seeing the forest for the trees)
Smarmfarmer: "Well who's this."
Me: "uh, Jill."
Smarmfarmer: "Ohmygod, you sound gorgeous."
Me:*wince* "Is there anything I can help you with?"
Smarmfarmer:"Uh, no...I just called to talk to Dru."

Oh man, I use to get that crap all the time answering the phone at work. It would make me batty! Half the time I'd get, "oh girl, do you look as good as you sound?", or "what YOU doin' later on tonight, baby?". Ick. [insert gag reflex here]

Naturally, I would tell them that I have the face for radio and a huge wart on the end of my nose. It would shut them up momentarily so I could transfer them to a different department.

What really gets me is the yahoos cruising down Sunset on the weekends. It's like cruising the boulevard back home, only THEY do it because there's nothing else to do. I have no idea what the point is here. Cruising is wee todd did.
