disciplining a kid takes a lot of time, effort, and patience. If anyone is looking for a quick and easy way to get kids to do what they say...they shouldn't be parents.
I completely agree with you. My parents would agree with you as well, which is why they're awesome parents. My mom, mostly, though. Because my dad did some majorly regrettable things when I was a kid that I only forgave him for a few years ago.
He was a good parent too, though. Bad husband, but good parent.
